History & Facts
- Epiphany School has a solid tradition of bringing Catholic education to the Sayre area community. We have been serving the families of the Valley and surrounding areas since 1929.
- Our long history has been one of providing parents with assistance in the moral, religious, and academic education and development of their children. We strive to create an atmosphere where basic Christian values are lived and where students learn about God working in their lives.
- Through parish and community support, we make this education accessible to -any family who seeks it, regardless of religion.
- The administration of Epiphany School is comprised of the pastor of the Church of the Epiphany, the principal and school advisory board. The principal along with some of the faculty members are Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
- All teachers are certified in elementary education and many hold master's degrees. In addition, the faculty includes special subject teachers of music, computer education, library science and physical education.
- Uniforms...School uniforms are required for all students. These can be obtained new or through our annual uniform exchange.
- Epiphany School Library Media Center. .. A computerlab established to provide each student with access to state of the art computer technology. The library is a spacious, well equipped learning resource, available to all students at all times. A librarian provides weekly instruction to all classes.
- Bus Services ...With full cooperation of Athens, Sayre and Waverly school districts, bus service is available within these districts.
