Epiphany School exists for the purpose of promoting high standards of academic, personal, and social values and attitudes called for by Christian commitments. In building a faith community, we recognize and respect the faith and beliefs of all our students. Together we make every effort to integrate the teachings of the Catholic faith into the curriculum and into the everyday life of each student.
Since Epiphany School values the individuality and uniqueness of each student, we are committed to providing the students with opportunities for personal, spiritual, educational, physical, and social development. Many of these experiences involve serving those in need. Our curriculum, determined and updated according to the requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Diocese of Scranton, reflects the needs of the school by giving consideration to individual interests and potential. We strive for the growth of the students in all areas of development using ability appropriate techniques of learning.
Demonstrating a caring and interested attitude toward our entire community, we involve all parties who have a rightful stake in the school’s well being and the achievement of its mission. Every effort is made to foster paternal participation in the life of the school and in the ongoing development of the students. The school seeks more productive ways to involve all concerned parties in constructive input and dialogue, resulting in a greater sense of ownership.
As partners in the education process, all members of the Epiphany family continually support one another through their sharing of respect and concern for each other’s needs.
