Clubs

Forensics Club

The Forensics Club is dedicated to foster the students’ interest in literature and to enhance their English language skills through creative writing, public speaking and dramatic arts.

Enrichment Spanish Club

We welcome the beginning of our new Spanish club held on Thursdays after school. The club is taught by Mrs. Yalitza Marrero, a Puerto Rican native and bilingual speaker who has worked as a translator for church officials in Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Marrero is also the parent of a Pre-K student and two future Epiphany students, two years and three months old, respectively.

Enrichment Math Club

Dr. Cathy D’Ortona has been working with Mrs. Donahue to form an after school math program. This club will give students the opportunity to reinforce important math skills. The club will cover topics outside the normal curriculum as well as previously taught topics from a new approach. Dr. D’Ortona is a math professor at Mansfield University as well as an Epiphany mom to two sons.

Chess Club

This club is for grades 3-8 and welcomes players with all levels of experience.  The group is led by Mr. Adam Rubert, our Technology / Computer teacher and meets every Wednesday in the library from 2:45 pm until 4:30 pm.  Chess is a great way for students to advance their critical thinking skills.  Students are encouraged to bring their chess sets.
