Epiphany School students in grades Pre-K to six participated in the Hour of Code during Computer Science Education Week on Monday, December 4th.  The purpose of the Hour of Code is to demystify “code” and to show that anyone can learn the basics.  Students collaborated with partners to solve a one-hour coding tutorial using computers, IPads and various manipulatives.  The program is intended to encourage student problem solving skills and persist when things get complicated or don’t work the first time.  Pictured are first and second grade students during the Hour of Code.
