Volunteer at Epiphany School

Epiphany School is blessed with the support of dedicated parents, grandparents, and community members who generously give their time to enhance the educational experience of our students. Volunteering at Epiphany is not only impactful, it is also deeply rewarding. Volunteers witness the results of their contributions in the joy and success of our students every day.

Get Involved

Parents and family members are invited to share their talents, interests, and time to support our school. There are a variety of opportunities available that help create our family-centered environment. Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • PTG Officers

  • School event committees

  • Fundraising support

  • Homeroom parents

  • Cafeteria and playground supervision

  • Club coordinators

  • Special events and celebrations 

    • Grandparent’s Day, Hour of Code, Sweetheart Dance, Mother-Son Kickball Game, Father-Daughter Dance, Fun & Field Day

  • Race for Education

  • Library support

  • Parade float planning

  • Guest speakers

  • Office assistance

School Volunteer Requirements

To ensure the safety and well-being of our students, all school volunteers must complete background clearances and required training. Requirements differ based on your Pennsylvania residency status. For details visit the Diocese of Scranton Catholic Schools School Volunteer Requirements page.

Earn a Tuition Credit Through Fundraising and Volunteering

Families who volunteer at Epiphany School can earn tuition credits based on their involvement. 

  • Click to view Tuition Credit Information Flyer 

    • $500 Tuition credit for completing 15 hours of volunteer service and selling 15 Epiphany Lotto tickets. 

    • $1,000 Tuition credit for completing 15 hours of volunteer service and selling 30 Epiphany Lotto tickets. 

  • Be sure to track your volunteer hours with the office to receive credit.

  • Tuition credits are applied to the following school year. 

  • Volunteer hours for tuition credits are due on the last day of school.
